BIZINT, short for business intelligence, is a mobile and web-based application designed for logisticians, operational planners, senior contracting officials, and contingency contracting officers. This tool gives users access to critical information about commodities and services available in the commercial marketplace in regions where we currently operate, and in areas we may operate in the future. BIZINT was developed and optimized to assist in planning and executing Joint Force commercial support requirements.

Market Intelligence
With BIZINT's map-based interface, users can view a region, filter for their needs, and quickly assess the capacity of commodities and services available. If the selected region does not meet the required supply capacity, users can "zoom out" to explore additional options. After completing market research, users can export a list of available commodities and services within the viewable area. Users can further refine their search by adjusting commodity and service filters and sorting the results. With BIZINT, users can quickly and easily gain a clear understanding of the commercial market's capability and capacity to support operations and exercises.

Vendor Management
BIZINT frequently ingests tailored market reports from multiple sources, including reputable global market research companies and government sources such as DLA. Additionally, by using a vendor’s CAGE code, BIZINT synchronizes seamlessly with SAM.gov and displays vendor registration status. BIZINT also enables trained users to easily add, edit, or delete vendor information based on direct interaction with vendor contacts. This “boots-on-the-ground” approach means BIZINT data remains relevant to support Joint Force operations.
Contract Visualization
BIZINT connects with FPDS.gov allowing for visual presentation of recent and active U.S. Government contracts. Users can review these contracts for common services and commodities they need in specific regions. This feature is useful when identifying potential avenues to source commercial requirements for upcoming exercises or active operations.

Key Features
BIZINT's core features are supported by a variety of functions that extend the application's capability and provide greater detail about the commodities and services available in the marketplace.
OFFLINE ACCESS
BIZINT users can download commercial market intelligence to their mobile device to use when in low or no bandwidth areas. Offline data adds and edits will sync when the device re-establishes network connectivity.
COMMODITY IMAGES
Images can be added to a commodity or service to provide greater context or specific information not easily displayed in the commodity view.
DOWNLOAD MARKET INTELLIGENCE
Users can download CSV documents of all vendor and commodity information in a visible area for easy sharing and use during the planning process. CSV downloads contain contact numbers, supply types and potential capacity available.
